Talk about anti-climatic

In the end the governor made relatively minor changes to the transportation package.

It will be interesting to see who ends up voting against the package.  Any no votes will probably only come from non-competitive districts.

The next big thing to watch is the Dulles rail project.  As noted in my last post the local government has basically backed itself into a corner by having a public-private partnership which allows for a non-competitive bidding process.  The only way the project can be stopped is if the bid is over budget.
